We are lucky in Clarksville to have so many great playgrounds and parks to explore. From swings to slides, to climbing walls and water features, Clarksville's parks and playgrounds keep my kids active, are a great place to meet old friends (and make new friends!), and they're FREE!
I often get asked what our favorite playgrounds are, so I thought I'd share here with you my family's picks for our top five playgrounds and parks to visit in Clarksville
Locations are listed alphabetically:
Coy Lacy Park
105 Canterbury Rd
Clarksville TN 37043
What we love about Coy Lacy Park:
Coy Lacy Park is one of the smaller ones nestled into an established neighborhood. It is usually not very crowded but offers a nice sized playground, swing set, small covered pavilion, a paved walking trail perfect for bikes and/or dogs, a large open field equipped for baseball or soccer and a beautiful view as the park itself is surrounded by trees.

Heritage Sports Complex
1241 Peachers Mill Rd
Clarksville TN 37042
What we love about Heritage Park:
First and foremost all this park has to offer. From a unique splash pad/playground combo filled with sensory activities, to a skate park, shaded dog park, soccer fields, baseball fields, and basketball courts. Honestly this place has it all. In addition there plenty of areas to have a picnic or a friendly pick up game of frisbee.

Liberty Park and Marina
1188 Cumberland Dr
Clarksville TN 37040
What we love about Liberty Park and Marina:
The community built playground that looks ( and plays) like a castle. In addition if you are in the mood to do a little fishing, bring your poles and your bait as there is a 10 acre fishing pond. There is also a Bark Park ( coded entry) and bikes which you can rent to ride on the almost 2 mile paved trail. In addition, on most days you will have no trouble finding a place to kick a ball around or fly a kite as there are ample amounts of open space for free play. Expect plenty of picnic tables and pavilions available for a picnic.

Rotary Park
2308 Rotary Dr
Clarksville TN 37043
What we love about Rotary Park:
his is most definitely ONE of the favorites in our community. We can literally spend hours at this park because there is SO much to do! There are over 6 miles of hiking and biking trails, a playground and workout area, picnic areas and covered pavilions, a Sand Volleyball Court, a creek which is perfect for wading and catching tadpoles or minnows, plus a newly added 18 hole disk golf course, Nature Themed Playground and Nature Center. The park is very "spread out" over 111 acres so even when there are lots of people visiting, it never "seems" crowded.

McGregor Park
640 North Riverside Rd
Clarksville TN 37040
What we love about McGregor Park:
This playground is perfect for my youngest one who is sensitive to crowds of people. Its not huge or overcrowded most days. There are nice tables and benches for a picnic. There is a paved 1 mile walking trail which runs along the Cumberland River, perfect for a evening stroll or bike ride (rentals are available). Fun little added feature: this park has an "As The River Flows" museum which explores Clarksville's River History.
