We are all  looking for ways to get out of the house in Clarksville this winter! Fresh air is good for the soul — not to mention it helps to get the wiggles out of the kids. 1. The Nashville Zoo

5. Explore Local Hiking Trails 

Bundle up the kiddos and hit the trails for some Winter Family Fun. A few of our favorites are: Rotary Park, Dunbar Cave and The Clarksville Greenway.

6. Learn To Ice Skate @ The Ford Ice Center 

The Scott Hamilton Skating Academy's Learn to Skate program is available at Ford Ice Center Antioch and Bellevue and uses Learn to Skate USA curriculum. The program is designed to serve the needs of both recreational and competitive skaters by teaching figure skating and hockey skills. All of our coaches are committed to sharing a fun and positive experience that will instill a lifelong love of skating. 7.Take a Day Trip To Tennessee Safari Park 

The Drive Through Safari Park, Walk Through Safari, Wild Animal Preserve, Animals Up Close and Personal, Concessions (open seasonally and weather dependent), Gift Shop and a Children’s Petting Safari. Experience all the above and more at your Tennessee Safari Park! Drive through the 5.5 miles of Safari Roads in your own car and interact and feed animals as you make your way through our park.
